Program Description:
Congratulations on your selection to be a part of the BOLD Women's Leadership Network!
  Peru - BOLD

The first cohort of 40 BOLD Scholars across four institutions (California State University at Fullerton, Middlebury College, Rutgers University - Newark, and Smith College) will have an international immersion experience in the summer of 2017. This experience will take place during the first three weeks of June, and will be defined as a “Citizen Community Engagement” trip.  The themes of the trips will focus on “local citizenship in a global world” at an established community development site in one of four countries (to be revealed at a later date).  The goal of the international immersion experience is to reinforce, in a global context, the issues of social equity explored through the BOLD program, and foster the growth of BOLD Scholars as change agents locally, and in the greater global community.

Although the nature of this web-based platform makes it look like this is an application, this is not an application.  You've already been admitted to the program.  Now we just need to collect some basic information about you in a single repository (here) so that we can make sure that each of these four groups will be diverse, consisting of members from all four of the participating institutions.  (There is also some information here that we need in order to enroll you in health insurance for this trip.)

If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to contact either your campus' BOLD Coordinator, or Bill Mayers (wmayers@middlebury.edu) who is working on this international component of BOLD.
